Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University in 2022 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 2024. While in her first year of completing her master’s degree, Danielle interned at Moylan Expeditionary Learning Academy in Hartford, Connecticut where she provided elementary aged students and their families with interventions to address their social and emotional needs. Danielle also co-facilitated an art therapy group with students to further address issues surrounding mental health and school related concerns. The following year, Danielle completed her second-year internship at Pinnacle Behavioral Health, where she co-facilitated high school groups and implemented DBT based clinical interventions. Through her experience at Pinnacle, she gained a deeper understanding of family systems and their impact on adolescents and grew passionate about providing services to this age group and their families. Danielle is excited to continue her work at Pinnacle as a counselor in an IOP setting.
